Dozen Farm Fresh Eggs
Our farm-fresh eggs are sustainably raised in a movable coop. Packaged with care by volunteers and students at the Bowers School Farm. Available in August.
This beautiful dozen of brown eggs were raised in a sustainable manner in a moveable pasture coop. Up to 200 birds can scratch, peck, and forage across many acres of grassland. Engaging in principles of permaculture, the pasture will support small and large ruminants (goats, sheep, and cattle) who will graze or browse on the land left fertilized by the egg-laying chickens. This model of production allows our FFA students to study the effects of rotational grazing in a diversified agricultural production system.
